STRUCTURAL ENGINEER - Ref: STL-2010-007
Due to rapid growth in our business our Engineering Design Office Division we are seeking experienced Structural ENGINEER to join our design team in North Shore.
Reporting directly to the Project Manager, successful candidate performs analysis and design of the more complex structural systems for various mining and bulk material handling projects for review and approval by Senior Engineers. The successful candidate reviews the drawings and ensures elements of design, model and detailing adhere to relevant jurisdictional codes. Coordinates structural elements with mechanical, and electrical documentation. The successful candidate may lead small, less complex, projects once concepts are determined by more senior engineers.
Successful candidate will need to demonstrate:
Essential skills:
- Bachelor Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
- Work experience :
- 5+ years in mining/bulk material handling industry
- exposure to material processing plant operations or maintenance
- knowledge of relevant Australian and International Standards
- with personal acumen, good with people and easily build rapport
Preferable skills:
- Self driven
- Flexible approach to working
- Advanced computer skills
